Pulse photography is a style of wedding photography that focuses on capturing candid, spontaneous moments as they happen. It is often described as a photojournalistic approach, as it seeks to document the day as it unfolds, rather than posing and staging photos.
Pulse photographers aim to capture the emotions, connections, and details that tell the unique story of each couple's wedding day. This can include capturing candid shots of the couple and their guests, as well as more formal posed photographs. We typically work with their clients to understand their vision for the wedding and to create a collection of images that truly tell the story of their special day.

All packages are simply designed with quality & value in mind. We have no time limits or limitations on how many photos taken or given, where were go, or what you would like to do, It’s your day! We can also customise a package that best suits your individual needs, easy!
Engagement Shoot
We offer a FREE “break the ice” engagement shoot with most packages. You can also upgrade to a premium engagement shoot at any time.
Unlimited Images
Images are supplied in the highest quality on USB and online for all to see. There are no limits on how many photos we take or deliver.
We usually provide 600-900 photos from the day.
The Quality of Our Work
All photos are hand adjusted with colour, saturation and exposure for the best possible result. Your photos are then ready for printing or sharing on your favourite social media platform such as Facebook or Instagram.

We offer a variety of sizes, colours, and finishes wth our digitally produced albums. Our albums are of the highest quality and will last a lifetime.

FAQs
Is Wedding Photography what you do full time?
Yes, Pulse Photography has been servicing the Newcastle and the surrounding area professionally for over 15 years.
Do you have a travel fee?
There are no travel fees for areas including Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens or the Central Coast. Please send us a message if you wish to use our services outside of these locations as a travel fee may apply.
When will my wedding photos be ready?
We understand you are excited to see your photos as soon as possible, so we provide you with a variety of edited teaser photos within the first three days. The remaining photos will be sent to you on USB in the highest quality in 4- 6 weeks. Delivery times vary depending on our current workload.
What are your payment terms?
We require $500 deposit to lock in your date. The balance is due no later than 2 weeks before your date. Payments can be made by direct deposit, VISA or MasterCard.
Do you edit all of our photographs, how many do you take & how may will we receive?
Yes, all the photos are meticulously adjusted, and colour corrected to provide you with the highest quality product possible. We usually provide 600-900 photos from the day.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
This does happen from time to time however there is always an option. This can range from seeking shelter under trees or awnings, or simply adjusting your locations for the day. We always recommend that you have some backup locations in mind in case of rain, we can help you with this during your planning stage. We also carry umbrellas as additional insurance for the day.
